INGREDIENTS
1.
1 Cup chana
2.
2 cup water to soak the chana
3.
1 tablespoon oil
4.
2 onions
5.
½ tablespoon red chilli
6.
¼ tablespoon turmeric
7.
½ - 3/4th teaspoon salt according to
taste
8.
2 chopped green chillies
9.
1 tablespoon garam masala
DIRECTIONS
1.
The first step to make chana masala starts by
soaking the chickpeas overnight
2.
Drain the water and add them to a pot.
3.
Add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. When the oil
heats up, add chopped onions in oil and fry until golden. Sprinkle little salt
and keep stiring to fry them evenly.
4.
Add chilli powder and turmeric .
5.
To this paste add the chana and blend to smooth
without water.
6.
Saute until the mixture turns fragrant.
7.
Then add green chilli, garam masala powder and
salt if needed.
8.
Fry further for another 2 – 3 minutes and cover
them.
9.
Now chana masala is ready to serve.
